Your brand is going into German retail, but you have no warehouse here.
A brand from Italy wanted to place its liqueur in German retail and started with a single pallet. What it needed was not a hall of its own but an address with an excise number and someone to handle the paperwork.

How it runs for you
- 01
First consignment to Solingen
Your producer or your current warehouse sends the goods to us under duty suspension. We file the report of receipt with customs and book every pallet into the stock ledger.
- 02
Call-off for German retail
When a retailer orders, we file the alcohol duty return and release exactly the quantity ordered. Whatever stays behind stays duty suspended.
- 03
Customers in other EU countries
For consignees with their own tax warehouse or registered consignee status we dispatch under duty suspension with an e-AD and ARC.
- 04
Export outside the EU
If a consignment leaves the EU we file the export declaration and give you the exit confirmation as proof.

Frequently asked questions
When does German alcohol duty arise?
Only when the goods leave the tax warehouse into free circulation. Until then they stay duty suspended, however long that takes.
Can you ship single bottles to consumers?
No. We dispatch palletised to businesses, not to consumers.
What about wine or liqueurs below 10 % ABV?
We may not accept wine, sparkling wine and intermediate products, nor alcopops below 10 % ABV.
