Who is behind TXWH
Before TXWH existed, I kept seeing importers get stuck at the same point. Without their own access to a bonded warehouse, they need one provider for customs, a second for excise duty and a third for storage. Every handover costs time, and the responsibility ends up spread across three addresses. So I applied for the tax warehouse licence myself and brought everything together in one place.
I am Erdal Akkoc, managing director of TXWH and personally the officer in charge of the tax warehouse. In practice that means I look at every shipment that arrives or leaves, and I check every document that belongs to it. I do not delegate this, because in the end I am the one who answers to the main customs office for it.
We have held the licence since February 2026, and operations started in April 2026. Since then we have handled goods worth over 3.3 million euros through the warehouse.

Location
The warehouse is in Solingen, about 30 minutes from both Düsseldorf and Cologne, right on the A46 motorway. Deliveries are by appointment.
