Shipping into the EU under duty suspension

From Solingen to any tax warehouse or registered consignee in the EU without German duty arising. We open the electronic administrative document (e-AD) and monitor the movement until the report of receipt.

Truck leaving the warehouse for an EU destination
  • Consignee checked in the SEED register before every dispatch
  • e-AD and ARC number on the day of loading
  • Movement monitored until the report of receipt

How it works

  1. 01

    Dispatch order in the portal

You select pallets, consignee and pickup day. We check stock and any holds.

  2. 02

    SEED check and e-AD

We verify the consignee's excise number and open the e-AD. You receive the ARC number immediately.

  3. 03

    Loading

Your forwarder collects. The driver receives the accompanying document with the ARC and the consignment note.

  4. 04

    Discharge

The consignee files the report of receipt in EMCS. Only then is the movement discharged and booked out of our ledger.

What you bring

  • The consignee's SEED number and address
  • A forwarder with VAT ID and vehicle registration

What we take care of

  • SEED check, outbound e-AD, ARC
  • Accompanying document and consignment note for the driver
  • Monitoring until the report of receipt, follow up on delays

Four details for your quote

Pallets per shipment, how often you ship, how long the goods stay and where they go next. That is all we need for a quote.

Frequently asked questions

Does my EU customer need a tax warehouse?

A tax warehouse or registered consignee status. We verify both via the SEED number.

What if the consignee does not report receipt?

We follow up. Without a report of receipt the movement stays open and duty can arise in Germany. That is why we screen consignees beforehand.

Can you ship to consumers in the EU?

No. Only to consignees listed in the SEED register.
